Nyrim Kheideshrat POV
Two guards led me down a dimly lit hall. Shadows lined the cracks and crevasses in the walls, where the weak torch light failed to reach. The hallway, or rather cave, had a dank and heavy atmosphere. As we progressed deeper into the hall, caged cells began to pop along the way. They were all empty, I assumed not many people were kept down here.
The guards stopped in front of a wooden door with one small window closed up by bars. They were not going to let me have any chance of escaping. The guards signaled for me to enter the cell. As I stepped into the cell I studied their faces. The first guard gave me a murderous glare, while the second looked at me with concern and uncertainty clouding his eyes. If either of them were to get in a fight with me I could easily overpower the two. I smiled nodding to myself.
I want to see where this is going before I kill anyone. Besides if it all goes to shit, I'm insured.
The guards closed the door behind me, I stood in the same position with my back to the door until I heard their footsteps fade into the distance. I let out a sigh and began to observe the cell.
The cell was very moist and cold to the touch. A bed had been crudely installed into the wall. No blanket, no pillow, just a hard plank of wet wood. The floor was made of cobblestone, and the wall was made of stone.
I walked over to the bed and sat down. I began to think the events over until I began to hear footsteps in the distance. The light footsteps got louder and louder. I looked up as someone unlocked my door.
