My last year of high school was a nightmare. I swear you can’t pay me enough to ever return to that town. Even though most people who tortured and insulted me back then might not live there anymore. But just the thought of setting foot on those roads makes me feel like throwing up. Funny enough, I did also have a ‘friend’ back then who was wishing for my application for an art school in Chemnitz to be rejected. That way I wouldn’t move out of that hellhole of a rural town. She said that with such a smirking face, claimed it was a joke and that she would miss me. But it just sounded like she was wishing for me to stay as miserable as she was (we lost contact shortly after I moved, so I guess she didn’t miss me that my h after all xD). The way the ‘school buddies’ in your comic react reminds me so much of that... What I want to say, this chapter already speaks a lot to me. I find it very relatable and your portrayal of Antoinette having a melt down in the train is so realistic, it’s frightening. You got my sub and I’m looking forward for further updates :)
