Someone told us that, in our comics, we draw Lily with too long whiskers. With a quick live comparison we found out that actually... we draw them too short! How did we not notice, until now, that Lily has the longest whiskers we've ever seen in a cat?
Cat whiskers are unique to the cat. Having six cats, I can attest that no two of them have the same whisker arrangement. Whiskers serve two purposes: A> To tell the cat if s/he will fit into a hole or space and B> they vibrate at frequencies that match the noises mice make. Thus they both locate prey and tell the cat if s/he can get to them.
