It was nightfall. Milky Way just got through some harsh work and training, while Sun has finished hours ago, and Clare was in the clinic. Milky Way laid down in her small tunnel, sore from the work. 

 She looked at the mountains, whimpering quietly to herself. Sun walked over, glaring at her, still mad about earlier. Milky Way shrugged it off, and ignored him, looking out at the mountains and the forests. She sighed, and curled up, drifting to sleep eventually.

She ran after the mass in front of her, the wind blowing in her fur. She smiled at it, and ran after them, growling quietly. She smirked to herself, and pounced, her claws digging into the mass, toppling it over. She sunk her fangs into it, tasting metal. She felt a jerk, and then nothing. She howled out, and saw others run to her, smiling at her. And then...black.

 Milky Way jerked from her sleep, the sound of metal being yanked on awakening her. She looked at the gates and saw Sun and Clare attempting to open it. "What are you guys doing?" Milky Way said, walking over. "Getting out of here!" Clare whispered to her, a smile on her face. The two yanked at pushed the metal gates, practically bending it with their jaws. Sun managed to yank it open, but it hit Milky Way straight in the muzzle. She jumped back from the impact and shook her head, the feeling of blood running down her lips. 

 Clare growled at Sun, but he only glares at Milky Way. "Watch out next time you stupid pup!!" he yowled, growling deeply at her. Milky Way shook at his voice and nodded slightly, a small look of anger in her eyes. Sun's ear twitched at the sound of humans yelling. Clare looked over and ran in. "Hide!!" she yelled, running to the tunnel Milky Way slept in. Milky Way followed and curled up with her, making sure they were hidden from the light outside. Sun walked to his bed, laying down in it.

 After a minute, they heard the gate shut. Milky Way and Clare walked out, looking over at the gate. "Crap!!" Clare yelled, clawing at the ground. Milky Way hummed gently and looked around. She walked over to another gate that couldn't be opened, but she knew there was a way over. 

 Clare looked at it and tilted her head. "Why are you looking over here? We can't get out that way!" she yelped, still nervous about getting caught. Milky Way smiled at her and hopped onto a rock. Clare got the hint and followed, clawing her way up. The two reached a stone and looked out. Finally, they'd be free. Sun climbed up and smiled at them. 

 "Can you believe it Sun? We can go home!!" the cream color female said, smiling at him. Sun looked out and smirked. "I don't want to go Milky Way.." he said, looking at the human area. Milky Way's ears perked at that and looked at him. "What? Why?" she asked, her ears going back. Sun looked at her. "Because Milky Way, I love it here. I get respect, and I'm given food freely. I don't have to hunt for it like you." he said, snarling at the two girls. 

 Clare growled at him, baring her fangs. Milky Way flicked her tail in front of Clare, signaling for her to stop. "Fine. We will go. You can stay here and rot!" Clare snarled, turning away from Sun. Milky Way looked at him and whimpered. "Are you sure you don't want to come..?" she asked, her ears going back. "Why would I EVER go with you? Now, GET. OUT." Sun said, growling at her. Clare jumped down, no care for the pale gold male. 

 Milky Way sighed and jumped down, dirt kicking up under her. She smiled at Sun and said her goodbyes. He only nodded before taking his leave from them. The two females walked for half a minute, only to hear humans yelling and gunshots go their way. "SCATTER!!!" Milky Way yelled, taking off, and Clare running away from her, both shaking harshly.
