A couple years ago there was something called "Iron bar scandal" in Sweden. A member of the Fascist party Swedish Democrats (don't let the name fool you, please) chased and beat a guy with an iron bar, only for the color of his skin. They tried to cover it up and explain the whole incident away, of course - as you do - but it was too late, too many had seen it happen. Maybe, as they were already playing school yard, they should have said he "only dropped it" or something?
