This is it! So it was the hamster getting Revenge on the mother for letting him starve. Why in such a horrible way; killing the entire family? I wanted to show this as an extreme in comparison to how extremly little we usually care about animals dying; or cruelty used towards them (eg. references to the battery hens). Hope you enjoyed this short story!
