Humanity has a tendency to look towards the future with rose-tinted glasses. When said future arrives, however, usually it's not all it's cracked up to be. As a matter of fact, it sometimes sucks out loud with not much changing. While the year 2059 isn't a full-on dystopian hellscape, it could be better. With humanity's continued growth comes growing pains, both old and new. Men of law with too much power, advanced tech in the wrong hands, scum of the earth running free, and genocidal ideologies evolving with the time. One would think you'd need a hero in dark times like these. Not so. Sometimes to fight monsters, you need a bigger monster.
