The road was foggy & filled with an intense, murky darkness. The incoming highway was empty except for a few trucks and a rare compact or two zipping through the fast lane.

The car that held Sierra, Lamar, Liv & Virgil though, was filled with a deep tension, filled with a silence that seemed ready to burst at any moment.

"Virgil," Sierra began, breaking said silence, "You maybe wanna tell us why the hell are the police after you?"

Virgil, sitting next to Liv and holding hands with her in the backseat, stared out through the window and nonchalantly murmured "I broke a few bones. Made someone disappear into thin air. Maybe they'll say I set the fire. All I know is that my life as I know it is over. Everyone has to know what happened by now. There's no way the cops ain't gonna be after me by now... "
