“Non-human” races are fighting for equal rights, an unruly demon is on the loose in Dogwood, and Aidan, your guide and narrator, is trying to survive his senior year of high school in a new town.
The story is narrated, and subsequently told, by Aiden, a young lad with plenty of mental issues and a polaroid camera. He is thrown into a new city and “a new life” in his last year of high school, leaving him to pick up the pieces of what remained of his normality.
He and his peers, at the height of their physical and magical puberty have to face the harsh reality of living in a small town, where not everyone is seen as an equal.
