Also, addressing the author's note...
I'm not particularly afraid of bugs. I mean certain ones bother me, and I definitely don't like surprise close encounters, haha, but like if I see a bug I don't generally freak out (barring surprise, I mean ^^;). :p I usually either leave it alone or, if it's somewhere it shouldn't be, try to put it outside (again, with some exceptions).
My fiance, however...
Well, he's good with most creepy crawlies (well, actually he's kind of an incredible mosquito magnet, so he's not a fan of them, haha, but otherwise...), but he's arachnophobic, so he's no good with spiders. ^^; When he was really little he ended up with a banana spider on his face once (he literally ran into the web), which traumatized him and led to the phobia... So even though he'll pick up centipedes and whatever with no problem, he has a panic reaction when it comes to spiders. @.@
So I deal with spiders for him and he deals with snakes for me. XD (I'm not that afraid of snakes, but I'm not good with wild ones ^^; ...Also, by "deal with" I mean put outside away from the living areas... I try not to kill the spiders if I can help it, despite his desires to the contrary. ^^;)
