Third POV:
The boys and the girls leave the warehouse and head back to the bunker.
"Thank you for saving us." Said Karolyn
"Your welcome its the least we can do for two pretty girls like yourselves, plus its what we do." Dean says.
Sam and Dean were standing in a corner of the room. They were talking very softly so that the girls couldn't hear them. Just then, Castiel transported over to the girls and began questioning them.
Cas Pov:
"Where did you come from?" Cas asked.
"I came from my mothers stomach, where did you come from?" Karolyn sassed.
"I do not understand, are you using sarcasm?"
"Look buddy, we've had a long day, can you just back off?" Abbie asked, frustrated.
Dean walks over. "Cas, what's wrong with you? Give them some time..."
"I apologize if I have bothered you in any way... But I will have to ask you some questions at some point..." Cas walks away.
"I'm sorry about, well, him..." Dean offered his apologies. "He's just a little off. Being an Angel and all."
"A what now?"
"An angel..." Sam walks over. " And the things that held you captive, they're Demons... Monsters, all kinds of monsters, are real..."
"You mean the things that live under your bed? The things that mom told me weren't real?"
"Yeah, those ones..." Dean rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"And you kill them? All of them?" Abbie asks.
"Most of them... We sure try..." Says Sam.
"Its late, let's get some shut eye..."
Sam shows Karolyn to the room she would be staying in, and Dean shows Abbie to her room.
Dean was about to leave, when Abbie stopped him. "Dean?"
"Yeah?"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I was raised not to tell anybody... It'd be better off if you didn't know. That's why. Goodnight Abbie..."
"Goodnight Dean..."
Sam stood by Karolyn's door, and shut the light off. "Sam...?"
"Yes Karolyn?"
"Will you, maybe, stay... With me? I'm kind of, well, scared..."
Sam got in the bed next to Karolyn and pulled her close. He held her until she fell asleep, and long after.
It was early, some time around six in the morning. "Aaaahhh!" Sam, Dean and Karolyn ran into the room.
"Abbie!" Dean yelled.
Abbie sat in the bed, body shaking, tears falling, body dripping sweat. "I'm sorry, I just, I just had a nightmare..."
"Its okay..." Dean sat next to her and held her close to him. "I got scared... I thought maybe someone got in and hurt you..."
"You okay girl?" Karolyn looked to her with worried eyes.
"Yeah, I'm okay..."
"Try to get some more sleep..." Dean said sweetly.
"I'll stay with you girl..." Karolyn lay in the bed beside Abbie. They both get a somewhat restful nights sleep from there on out.
Abbie and Karolyn walked down stairs to a bag of breakfast burritos. They sat down at the table. Dean handed Abbie a cup of coffee, while Sam handed Karolyn one. Surprisingly it were their favorite kinds, iced mocha, skim and two splenda for Abbie and iced hazelnut with cream and extra sugar for Karolyn.
Abbie took a sip of her coffee, and asked, "so what's the schedule for today?"
"Gun training, first off, blade training, fighting in general. If it exists, then you're learning it." Sam states matter of factly.
"I don't feel comfortable holding a gun..." Abbie says.
The morning passes by quickly. Abbie was in a tank top and a pair of sweat pants and combat boots, while Karolyn was in a tank top, shorts and combat boots as well. Abbie had short hair, so it was not in the way, but Karolyn's long braids were put in a bun.
Karolyn took the gun from Sam, and with ease, shot all ten bottles down in seconds.
Sam stares in amazement.
Abbie hesitantly takes the gun from Dean. She missed the first few shots, but soon, Dean shot that smile, and her confidence was back. She hit all the bottles in just moments more than Karolyn.
It would take time for Abbie to actually be comfortable holding a gun, but as long as she would be safe, Dean would be happy.
They started with hand to hand combat. Karolyn took on Dean. "Don't worry, I'll go easy on you..." Dean smirks.
"I wouldn't if I were you..." Karolyn grinned.
"Haha, okay then tiger."
Karolyn slammed her fist into Deans stomach. He hopped back at their surprising pain. The fight went on, and in the end, they were both drenched in sweat. They both had bruises, but hey, no pain, no gain...
The fight went on just as intensely between Sam and Abbie. Although surprisingly, Sam had more bruises than Abbie did.
Abbie had a bloody fist, so Dean carefully wrapped it in an ace bandage after cleaning the cuts thoroughly. "Dean, thank you..."
"For what?"
"For pushing me further than I ever have been before. Because of you, I grew up today. I can protect myself now..." She stood and pecked him on the cheek before going to shower and go to bed. She was exhausted.
