Ella had been driving for hours before convincing Aiyana to stop into a bar with her. They walked in, and it was a crowd that Aiyana hadn't seen in quite a while. They sat at a booth in the corner of the room. “Why don't we eat some greasy bar food.” Ella smirked.
“And I could go for a liver polluting beer.” Aiyana smiled.
“So you're cheating on Charlie with a bottle a jack eh?” Ella teased. “Anyway I got a lead on the oculus… through some research.” Ella deadpanned.
“You mean stalking your demonic ex.” Aiyana frowned.
“Maybe.” Ella sighed before being taped on the shoulder by the bartender.
“The gentleman over there bought you a drink. Saying, and I quote, you look like a bourbon kinda girl.” The bartender pointed at a rugged looking man in blue plaid.
Ella smirked mischievously.
“Bartender get me a water.” She asked
The bartender did as she asked. So Ella walked up to the man in blue plaid.
“Hello Ladies.” He purred.
Ella dumped the water on the mans head til his dark blonde hair was wet.
Then she took the shot of bourbon he bought her.
“Lesson 1, I don’t take handouts, Lesson two I don’t waste good liquor. Lucky for you I actually am surprisingly a bourbon girl.” Ella tilted her head with pride.
The man was shocked, he stared at her, trying to find words. The man next to him chuckled madly his long brown hair swinging back and forth as he tried to steady himself in his seat. He was almost crying.
“Shut up Sam!” The man said with a, you’re gonna die tonight face.
“Your brother tried to impress the wrong girl… she’s umm… stubborn…as well as coming with more baggage than an airplane.” Aiyana whispered to Sam
“I can see that.” The man sassed.
“We have more baggage than we can carry too though trust me.” Sam swigged a beer.
“Dean…” Sam interrupted, stern look on his face.
“Oh Dean is it… Screw…” Ella stormed back to their booth.
“Look fellas, it's best that you leave her be. You have no idea the shit we go through every day.” Aiyana calmly walked away. Yeah, Sam and Dean really doubted that they go through shit.
“Aiyana can we just work?” Ella questioned.
“Look, I don't think that guy meant anything by buying you a drink.”
“He thinks I'm just a typical girl, well I'm not. I see the things that most girls stop seeing when they switch to a full sized bed. I kill those things. I can handle myself and if he thinks that he can…”
“Ella, take a deep breath… You need to calm down.”
“Look I’m just … It’s cheating on Fabien if I do.. I mean I know we broke up, sort of… but what if I can save him? Scratch that what happens when I save him?” Ella questioned.
“Ella, I don't think Fabien will ever be the same again. Even if he gets his grace back. He'll be different. He'll still know he hurt you by doing what he did.” She sighed. “You told me to move on from Jeremy. I know, he wasn't him… I know that. And Fabien… He isn't him.”
“I know Fabien isn’t himself but once we get the demon out of him he’ll be MY Fabien again…. and if I’m with someone else it’ll kill him. I can forgive him for what he’s done but I couldn’t forgive myself if I did anything to hurt him.”Ella frowned
“Okay, I can’t convince you to move on, so I'll do the next best thing. I'll support you.
So operation save your Physco demon Ex boyfriend? What's the next step.” She smiled and Pat her on the shoulder.
“Well Fabien’s after something called the oculus right?” Ella asked rhetorically.
“So we have to find it.” Aiyana confirmed
“Or at least find out what it is.”
“We can help with that.” Dean said from behind them, Sam by his side. “Look, i'm sorry about the whole drink thing. Let's start over. We're hunters. Have been since we were kids.”
“What gave us away?” Ella wondered. “I mean we don’t keep our anti possession marks visible, hell, mine is on one of my bones.” Ella chuckled.
“We kind of… observed your conversation. We can't help it. We're hunters, what the hell do you expect?”
“Information on the Oculus.” Aiyana demanded.
“Well all we know right now is that whoever has control of it has control of all the ghosts on earth.”
“So they are like Hela from Thor Ragnarock.” Aiyana offered.
“I guess so, if you see it that way. Anyways, work with us. We're leading towards getting the Oculus.”
“Thanks, but we work alone.”
“Come On, you girls can't handle everything on your own.”
“Boys have been wrong before.” Ella raised an eyebrow and winked.
“Hey, I don't know why I just remembered this, but we need to clean Ol' Pisser.”
“Woah, Aiyana! You don't say that.” Sam says, shocked look on his face.
“It's our… Wait, God you're disgusting! I'm talking about our car.”
“Yeah, she's a classic.”
“Really, I have a classic too. I call her baby. Now show me yours, I’ve always wanted to see a model T.”Dean smirked Ella walked to show dean her car. Dean stared at the nineteen twenties car that should be beautiful. However it was rusty and the metal was textured like sandpaper. The classic car looked like it belonged in the junkyard.Dean had a hamburger in his hand and a bite In his mouth but that didn’t stop Deans mouth from hanging open hamburger bits with it, “This… this is ol’Pisser. It's a model T! And you let it get like this!”
“Dean…” Sam warned.
“God you've lost your driving privileges.”
“It's just a car.” Ella defended herself.
“Just a car? Just A CAR that’s a priceless piece of American history! Whatever… I can’t with you.” dean sassed.
