I woke up the next morning and Sanka had disappeared I looked around and then sat up, found Sanka laying on the floor and snickered then I threw a blanket over him changed into a black sweater and jeans and went outside for a walk. As I walked down the slope leading to the forest I heard someone call out to me and when I turned around I saw a girl a little shorter then me with blonde hair and brown eyes 

"Hi I'm Sammy" she said holding out her hand, I shook it and said 

"I'm Desmond nice to meet you Sammy"

"Hey I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to town for some shopping? " she asked

"Sure" I replied.

I followed her to a small truck on the side of a dirt road, we got in and she turned on some tunes and started talking to me about how her family moved here but I wasn't really listening and I just stared out the window and imagined living a whole new life with Sanka. She soon realized that I wasn't listening and stopped talking, when we got to town I checked my phone and there was four missed calls and five new messages from Sanka and I felt bad but I just turned off my phone and walked around by myself. Sammy told me to meet her by the truck in a few hours so I just looked around here and there and decided to buy something to drink from a small café, I bought A small French vanilla then went back out side. 

I noticed it was getting dark so I started running to get back to the truck,  I discarded my French vanilla in my rush, I made a few wrong turns and I stopped realizing I was lost I started slowly walking down a dark ally way my blonde hair shifted slightly in the breeze my eyes searching suddenly I heard a noise I sniffed the air and there was a faint smell of cat shifters I looked around scared and realized I was cornered there was a slightly muscular man on my left and a broader one on my right I slowly walked backward as they moved in until my back hit the wall. I could smell my own fear scent and knew they could too, the one on the left spoke in a raspy voice " Well what do we have here a wolf shifter how unusual"

The one on my right replied "we should take him back too the boss he might be useful" 

The one on the left pulled out a needle and before I could scream the right one pinned me the left one stuck the needle in my neck and then everything went dark.
