PLEASE NOTE: this comic isn't orphaned! I'm still working on it. I'm sorry I started posting before I was really ready, and now I've left you all hanging. But it WILL be back. I'm even working on it as my university dissertation. As SOON as I'm reasonably prepped this time (a 20 episode buffer, rather than 10) I'll be back and updating on a regular schedule. Thank you SO much for your continued support, it means the world that you like Deadpan already. It's the passion project of my life, I won't stop till it's finished!

Here it is! The first flashback.
If you noticed the lack of update last week, that's cus I have decided I may sometimes need to post every-other-week instead of every week, because I'm not able to produce an episode a week and I'd quickly slip behind of my buffer. But it'll always be on Mondays! So keep on keeping an eye out :)
