I've been trying to figure out how the holograms work, but then I realized that you might be using the same concept as Space Boy (great comic over on Webtoons): vitual reality glasses. Everyone seems to be wearing them and ironically they are even a similar shade of light blue (although that's probably just the default 'glass' color). Am I right? It's a really fun addition to the world, makes it feel slightly fantastical even though it's simply technology. :D
