The inside of the lab was even creepier than the outside. That tank in particular gave her the creeps. There was a big cracked hole in the door of it, as if something had broken out. Judging by the goo on the floor, that tank had once been filled with the liquid.
There was also a suspicious red spot on the floor and stains on the overturned chair. One of two tubes on the wall was filled with an orange-red liquid. Maybe it was just that. Certainly the green goo explained some of the spots on her uniform.
The strange machine to her right had the screen that she'd looked at before. It was very clear now that the flashing words were 'ERROR ERROR ERROR'. Probably the machine had suffered when the power had gone out.
Em wondered what to investigate first. There were certainly a lot of interesting items here.
