Once I arrived home Nate was awake playing video games.

“Thanks a lot Nate”

“What I’d do?” Said Nate confused

“Oh nothing… because of you and your little shanigan yesterday I was late for class again”

“Oh that, sorry man. The party was really good yesterday and I guess I went a little wild”

“A little wild?! You dented my car”

“I did?! I'm so sorry I'll fix I swear”

“Didn't you tell me to tell my rich father to buy me a new one”

“I'm so sorry I didn't know what I was saying, I shouldn't have said that”

“Please Noah, forgive me” he said as he was about to get on his knees but I stopped him midway.

“No! No need to do that.”

“So you're not mad?”

“I guess not”

“Great! Cmon lets play some Call of Duty” he handed me a controller

“No I shouldn't, I should stud-”

“Don't be so uptight, relax and let's play a couple of rounds. Plus you're going back home tomorrow for winter break. I won't see you for month. Let's play” he pulled me over to the couch. I exhaled slowly in defeat.
