Elanor wasn't in the mood to talk. He didn't know what it felt like to be laughed at. Or did he? It didn't matter, she didn't care. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." She said, while rolling her eyes. She walked passed him and sat on her bed, while he stood there. And it would be that way for a while, complete silence.
"You know", The boy said, "I don't think this is how you make friends." Baffled by this remark, She quickly turned turned around and faced him. "What do you..what do you mean by that?" She asked. The boy rolled his eyes. Did she really forget? he asked himself. "When you first arrived here, you told me that you wished to become friends." Now of course, those weren't her exact words.
How could I be so stupid?! She asked herself, hitting herself over the head with her pillow. Oh how I hate self loathing. "I'm sorry, the whole laughing thing at breakfast has messed me up. The boy understood. After all, he was once the laughingstock of the place. But, he had made a better name for himself.
"Well, You hang with me and you'll never have to worry about that again." Elanor was content with that. She would get a body guard, and he would finally get a friend.
