Onay lumped over Aracarukku. They had yet to choose wether to leave, or stay, being remembered as a failure.
-What am I going to say to our parents?
Aracarukku layed head over knees, and under the moonlight, their eyes clearly displayed tears. Onay's leg, with it's odd bandages, was not working correctly. The odd snakes had almoust fully vanished, and while the damage was done, it was rather healed.
-That they lost against everybody's will. But you are not the one to say that.
Onay stood up. They looked at the horizon, where they had looked at before the duel.
-I'm leaving. I have archived what I wanted, and I don't deserve to enjoy it myself.
A tear dropped to the floor, and Aracarukku's eyes stayed where it had fallen.
-Stay and help. You need to make it up. I'll see if I can eventualy return, but it's not in my plans.- They looked over the horizon.- Be a good sibling. Alright?
Onay walked away, not daring to turn and look at their sibling. Aracarukku stayed on the floor, breathing in. Whenever they woke up, they would complete the promise. They would help this place as if their life depended on it.
-Say hi to our parents.
And they closed their eyes, each vanishing into the darkness in their own way.
