“Let’s get out of here!” Gravity picked up Delmar who felt strangely light and carried him over the shoulder. He would have enjoyed being weightless if he didn't already feel sick. Now it only made it worse. The jackal was outrageous and screamed orders to the two disappeared black shifters. The group ran out into the forest heading back towards the city.

“Nuclear, 1,7 pikogram!” Radiation shouted.

“Wha…?”

“Explode something! 1,7 pikogram normal fission! Over there somewhere. It should be an explosion the same size as a hand grenade. I'll protect everyone from the heat and Radiation! It should be a good distraction and scare them a bit!”

Nuclear looked a bit more excited than anyone felt completely comfortable with. He stopped and turned around to face their enemies. The others continued running.

Neutron pushed them down a hole in the ground. It was probably one of black holes test craters.

“You forget about the shock wave!”

A giant blast went off and it started ringing in their ears. They could barely hear Nuclear's laughing over the ringing.

“That was not 1,7 pikograms!” Radiation shouted.

“I'm sorry” nuclear laughed maniacally. “I just felt so good!”

“Radiation, I can't start to describe how furious I am with you right now. You are not supposed to encourage him to do stuff like this!” Gravity climbed up from the crater still carrying Delmar over the shoulder. Through the smoke Delmar saw the back of a very thin naked red headed man laughing hysterically. When he turned around and saw Gravity he immediately turned back into the small weasel Delmar knew as nuclear.

“Are they dead?” Neutron asked peeking over the crater edge.

“Not likely" Gravity answered angry. “It was a rather small exposition" the weasel gave Gravity a paranoid look before he ran down to Radiation in the crater.

“I really hope you take care of this mess afterwards Radiation… and I hope you don't forget what happened to the last Radiation council member before you. He let down his guard for a moment and then suddenly, boom! He was no more.”

The black cat who was Radiation came up from the crater with Nuclear right behind her.

“I know what I'm doing,” she shifted into her human form as well and lifted nuclear onto her shoulder. “And you should cut him some slack.”

“Watch your tongue young girl, the gods are watching.” Gravity said angrily. “We should gather the rest of the council, I really hope you didn't just start a war with the black shifters with your actions.”

“I think that will happen either way…” Delmar mumbled hanging over Gravity’s shoulder. “They’re planning a revolution against you.”
