I guess this explains why Mrs. Snoot-Hoot disliked Cathryn. I underestimated her but chances she just wanted to protect Cathryn. Too late for that now.
And hopefully this is the wake up call for Cathy as well. Only a fool would believe she has nothing magical about her and yet she believed it until now. Please, do not even attempt to say otherwise...

In the country of Distantland, nothing is as it seems. Cathryn, a young human girl, prides herself on her knowledge. However, when she meets a vampire named Van Von Fang, her world gets turned upside down. Everything she was taught about monsters is put into question. Not only that, but she learns of a threat affecting both sides. Her only hope is to use both wit and kindness to prevent the world she thought she knew from getting destroyed.
