I have spent most of my life around stereotypical IT workers. There is a consistant exerciser, a few combos of heavy nerd and mega geek, the volunteer emt, an animal rehabilitator, the self-obsessed maniac (no one wants to deal with), the greyhound lover(has 3 greyhounds at the moment), and the guy who just loves Red Dwarf. Most of them are nerds and super introverts with a few special hobbies or interests.
