"He always wants to show off his den. It's gotten annoying lately, " Artemis said. She ran to catch up, with me at her heels. The ravine had a bridge running through the middle with natural paths on the side. How a bunch of wolves managed to build a bridge, I had no idea. But I was impressed.
Apoolo bounded to the path, and with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes he slipped through the waterfall. Without hesitation, Artemis followed suit. As she went through, I caught a glimpse of a cave behind the waterfall, and padded in as quickly as I could. I closed my eyes as the water cascaded down, and I bumped into Apollo. I mumbled a "sorry" the best I could as I shook the water off and opened my eyes. We were in a medium sized cave, with a fire burning merrily, ignoring the fact that it was in a pool of water roughly the size of a pond.
The cave we were in looked like a foyer- a place to dry your paws off before going into the den. There was an opening leading into another room, with light bouncing off the walls. As I looked around, I noticed that Apollo's fur glittered gold, and Artemis' glittered (what else but) silver. I gulped and asked, "So, were you named after gods or what?" Artemis grunted and turned around.
