hello! it’s been a while since i’ve written my last announcement, and i hope everyone has been doing well <3 so, here’s an update for y’all on Acceptance’s current status

when i announced the hiatus back in april i said that it would be six months long, ending in october. clearly, that didn’t happen. to explain it simply, i had other priorities these past few months that took up a lot more time than i had anticipated, and i wasn’t able to get as much work done revising Acceptance as i would have liked. i am truly sorry that i didn’t meet this deadline, and i apologize that all of you will have to wait longer than promised for Acceptance’s return

however! i’ve gotten some of those big priorities out of the way recently, and i can now use more of my time to work a lot more diligently on Acceptance. although i don’t have the specific details set quite yet, i can say this: /////Acceptance will be coming back sometime in january///// as we get closer to that time, i will have more information on the update schedule and the specific date of the comic’s return

it has been helpful taking this time to step back and reassess my priorities and goals with the story, though, and i can’t wait to get this comic back in action and show you all what i’ve been working on. during this time, i have made one artistic decision that i figure i should announce in advance: /////Acceptance will be switching from full color to black-and-white in future updates///// my main reasoning behind this is that i want to increase my update speed, and doing full color pages has proven to be too labor-intensive for that. and honestly, i don’t really think of this as an art downgrade; i’m actually pretty excited to experiment with the possibilities of black-and-white art! it’ll just help me deliver the story quicker for all of you
