“Good day one and all, it’s a bright and sunny morning and we’re already for another great day of battles!” The announcer yells out as she flies down from above on her disk.

Her image appears across every monitor across the city as everyone around tunes in with their breaths held in anticipation. She floats around the city and stares at the crowd gathered at the edge of an invisible barrier.

“Since we’re ready here, let’s introduce the challengers! First, we have the newest newcomer Repigigas of Team Saurian!”

Repi stomps through the city moving past buildings as Kenji floats on a flying disk near its head. Kenji stares ahead with determination as he turns towards Repi happily.

“Are you ready for this Repi?” Kenji asks seriously.

Repi barks as it glares ahead with determination awaiting its foe. Kenji smirks and rub’s, it’s head happily as he floats by.

“It seems Team Saurian is rearing to go, now let’s see how Team Buggy is doing?”

The sound of rapidly flapping wings fills the air as Repi turns its attention towards the sky. The sound of rapidly flapping wings fills the air when a flying disk floats down from above. A large bug-like creature with large claws and large fly like wings rapidly flaps its wings as it flies over buildings landing atop a skyscraper as it stares down at Repi with its compound eyes. Its tube-like mouth drips with an odd liquid that burns the ground as it falls like droplets.

“Warble has made his entrance everyone. One of this year’s two favorites can our newcomer overtake this Aerial opponent?” The announcer says as the crowd cheers.

The young man on the flying disk flies towards Kenji as he stares up at it. “So, you were the ones who beat Bearklousus? I have to say I’m not impressed.”

“Well, we weren’t asking if we impressed you or not,” Kenji says disinterestedly. “We’re here to do battle, and win, there’s no way you're going to beat us today.”

The man smiles. “I don’t like picking on children, but for today, I think I might have to break that position.”

He floats away as Kenji glares up at him turning back to look at Repigigas. “Repi, there’s no way we can lose to that guy.” With Repi barking happily.

The announcer flies up as she starts the count. “Five!”

Dian concentrates removing her bracelet and visualizing the link between Kenji and Repi. She clutches it tightening the link as she feels the connection between the two flow through her body.

“Four!”

Oriana watches carefully keeping an eye on Dian as she keeps an eye out for the missing Toshiro.

“Three!”

For his part, Toshiro stands to watch the battle within the ring with a wide grin on his face. “Come on Kid, show me just what you and Dian came up with to face this challenge.” He says to himself.

“Two!”

Kenji and his opponent fly their disk into the air as the two Kaiju stare off at one another.

“One!” Everyone shouts as a loud bell echoes across the area.

“Kaiju Brawl Begin!”

Repi charges ahead with its body sparking with electricity. Warble flies up leaping from one rooftop to another always staying out of Repi’s physical range. As it gathers electricity Repi unleashes a small shit out as Warble flies up into the air barely dodging the attack. It flies across the skies with Repi shooting out more bursts of electricity as Warble dodges the attacks.

As it dodges Warble’s mouth tube grows larger and shoots out a small stream of gunk across the area. Repi leaps back dodging the gunk as it hits the buildings and street below eating away at anything it touches corroding away at the concrete and steel.

“Is that some kind of acid?” Kenji asks.

It looks like it. Dian’s voice echoes through his head and he looks around nervously. Remember I’m in your and Repi’s heads while strengthening your Bond.

“Right? So, do you have any idea what we can do? He’s faster than we expected, Repi’s new attack can’t hit him.” Kenji whispers.

Well, I don’t know. Its top speed was never recorded in the data we have no idea how fast it can really move, but I feel it’s still holding back. Dian says.

“Then what can we do?”

Unless we can do something to make the bolts faster….

Kenji holds out his hand. “There is. If I use my own finger like a pointer and you let Repi see through my eyes, then I can point out the foe and Repi can fire the faster bolts, the only thing is they’re not strong just fast.”

Well if you’re sure that'll work.

“Oh, I have no idea if this is going to work. I just can’t really think of anything else we could try.”

Whatever let’s do it!

Kenji closes his eyes and Repi does the same. He opens them and points his hand out towards the rapidly moving Warble. Kenji holds his hand and forms a gun with his fingers slowly figuring out Warble’s movement pattern.

“Now Sonic Spark!” Kenji yells out as he figuratively fires.

Repi shoots out a fast-moving spark of electricity out towards Warble who tries to dodge the attack. The bolt, however, hits as it turns striking Warble clear in the chest.

“We hit it!” Kenji yells out happily.

Warble’s head shakes rapidly as it flaps its wings faster increasing its own speed as it flies around the area. As it flies, it charges ahead tackling into Repi and knocking it to the side before coming around and doing it again. Its claws scrap against Repi’s scales as Repi lashes out trying to bite Warble only to miss every time.

“Can this be it, the top speed of Warble?! I wonder just how Repigigas can counter such a trick or will it fall victim to the fly’s rapid nature?” The announcer asks curiously as she watches the battle.

Repi is forced into the side of buildings with Warble knocking it over every time it tries to stand. With each and every strike Warble slashes at Repi and parts of its scales start to melt as Kenji watches on.

“It’s coating its claws in that acid?” Kenji asks.

I have an idea! Dian yells out echoing through Kenji’s mind. Whenever Repi unleashes a burst of electricity, its body glows with it. What would happen if we don’t release it but instead keep it within?

“That could work,” Kenji says seriously.

Alright, it’s a plan.

“The only thing is that Repi can’t gather electricity to easily if he keeps being knocked over like this,” Kenji says.

Well then figure something out!

“Repi bury yourself underground!” Kenji yells out.

Repi forces itself up and claws into the ground. As Warble comes in for another strike Repi breaks through the surface falling into a subway tunnel as it dodges Warble’s attack. Warble stares down into the hole as an odd blue light covers the inside of the tunnel.

“That’s right gather it up Repi!” Kenji yells out.

“Careful Warble don’t go into that tunnel!” The young man yells out.

Warble flies away from the hole as Repi’s body glows brighter and brighter.

“What is this, Repigigas is gathering more power from within the hole? What could he possibly be planning?” The announcer yells out.

“Alright Repi, time to come out,” Kenji says.

Repigigas comes out of the hole its body glowing bright blue as it stares off into the distance. Warble watches it from a rooftop as Repi glares up at it with the two meeting their eyes as Warble leaps up into the air.

“Okay, Repi do it!” Kenji yells out.

“Warble don’t hold back!”

Warble charges ahead at an incredible and blinding speed towards Repi. Repi opens its mouth and Warble almost instantly dodges out of the way. Aiming at its back it opens up its claws and prepares to strike. As the attack hits a force repels Warble’s attack knocking back Warble as it flies backward towards a building.

“What?” The young man yells out.

Kenji smirks as he folds his arms. “Alright Repi, it looks like it’s worked!”

Repigigas roars out loudly as its body glows with electricity running across its entire body.

“It appears as though Repigigas is holding a massive amount of energy inside of its body. It’s creating some form of armor that’s protecting its body from Warble’s attack.”

Kenji smirks. “That’s right!” Kenji yells out with everyone’s attention turned towards him. “This is our newest skill, dubbed Thunder Armor!”

“It’s amazing to come up with a new skill on the fly like this in the midst of battle. I wonder just how skilled Kenji and Repigigas can become through these battles.”

Out in the distance, Toshiro watches the battle with a bag of chips in hand and a smirk on his face. He stares at watching as Repigigas glows brightly with electricity and Warble forces itself back into the air.

“He’s getting better that’s for sure. I figured once he actually started getting combat in he’d be improving himself.” He takes a chip and eats it. “It’s always good to see some growth even if it’s small. Good luck Kenji, now show the world what you can do.”
