To whoever finds my body...I guess I’m sorry ? I hope for your sake that you can hold your breath because I probably smell utterly atrocious. Your poor poor nose, unless of course you just ran away and left me there. In which case your nose deserves to suffer.... I’m getting ahead of myself though, let’s backtrack a little bit to when my life was somewhat normal.
My name is Charlie Lennon, I've lived in Loving Leeches asylum for most of my life. My little sister and I entered the place when I was seven, she was 2. I've spent most of my life within these oh so vastly uninteresting walls. My little sister doesn’t even know anything exists outside of them. Let’s just get the obvious questions out of the way first, no I’m not insane, no don’t know why I was put here, yes I like pineapple on pizza.
If you have more questions than this then good luck trying to answer them ….cause this is text….I can't actually communicate back and forth. It’s a pretty simple concept, if you don’t understand then don’t bother reading on it's just going to get even more complicated for your poor brain cells. They work so hard trying to put these words into a meaningful message.
Great now I distracted myself… where was I? Enough interruptions we gotta get serious now, I could be dead for all you know. This could be my ghost writing. I could be a zombie luring you to find me so I can eat that juicy, juicy brain. No OK for real this time, I need to start my story. Its serious mode with serious paper, and serious pencil and seriousness. Let’s start again….
Hello, my name is Charlie Lennon. I am the dancing queen, young and sweet only seventeen. Feel the beat of my tambouri- ahhjdfgho jesus Charlie focus. Death, danger, ski slope titties, you gotta write it down before everything goes to shit and you forget. I actually am seventeen though, lived in Loving Leeches for ten years. I’m considered a lifelong patient, no one was expecting me to ever leave.
Having spent ten years in this place I can tell you it's not that bad. I get free food, free Wi-Fi and free therapy. The building itself is really really old, from what I’ve seen on TV its doesn’t look anything like the big concrete and tiled places Hollywood likes to pop out. The walls aren’t painted weird shades of almost mint green either, they are a dark royal blue. The asylum is made up of creaky worn wooden broads. With colored lines that crawl across the entirety of the floors to indicate where you are heading. Blue lines lead to dorms, yellow leads to the nearest bathroom, and green leads to the cafeteria. There are also purple lines that lead to recreation rooms and orange lines that lead to nurses stations. The black line is for the doctors only, but I’ve walked it multiple times and it usually leads to boring places like files and even more files and more files.
The memory is foggy and hard to pull to the surface but I’m pretty sure the asylum is in a valley. The surrounding trees are dark tall pines standing on hills spider-webbed with cracks, as if the ground is trying to runaway from itself. Or at least that’s what I thought when I first saw the place. From the outside the asylum doesn’t look as big as it actually is. Withered paint, and dried up foliage tries to seep its way into the slits and crannies. The windows are barred and covered with dust and frost. Once inside it's easier to notice that this place makes a giant square around a beautiful courtyard. The courtyard is a park filled with ponds and botany, little rabbits and squirrels, birds of all kinds, and just as many bird baths. I enjoy hiding in the courtyard a lot, it scares the shit out of the nurses when I climb a tree or hollow out a bush. One time I tried to see how far they would actually go if they thought I was missing… not a good idea, don't recommend.
