Gold’s dress seems more to me like a dress to tell *other* people she’s beautiful and something to look at and pay attention to, while Casey’s is more personal and seems like something that’s made to show *her*, rather than others, that she’s beautiful. It’s like her showing off her own flair without caring about how others see her, rather than forcing herself into the cookie cutter mold of society’s beauty standards.
She seems more like someone who would prefer her own flair rather than the societal standard. Gold even said he wanted to ‘showcase’ to others that she’s pretty, which is basically saying she’d be more of a mannequin just showing off her looks and his dress, rather than her being herself and just enjoying her party with a dress that shows off her personality more-so than her physical beauty.
She should definitely go for Casey’s dress.
