“Alright, who’s our next opponent?” Kenji asks putting on his jumpsuit.

Dian sits around on her laptop. “It’s Tentomass.”

“Tentomass?” Kenji asks.

“It’s apparently a giant squid-like Kaiju that can use its tentacles to walk on like their feet. It uses its tentacles to wrap around its opponents and squeeze them into unconsciousness.” Dian says.

Kenji steps forward with a large smile on his face. “Good, a nice close-range fighter. If that’s all we have to deal with then even with Repi out of control we can win this.”

“But let’s do our best to keep him under control. If he loses it in the middle of battle, then we’ll be disqualified immediately and Repi might even be taken away from us.” Dian scolds rushing up to Kenji. “So, you better do your best to keep him under your god damn control!”

“I’ll do my best, and I assure you Repi will remain under control.”

“You better,” Dian says. “Now let’s head to the stage.”

“Hey what about Repi?” Kenji asks. “Will he be okay in the transport?”

“Well… I don’t know.” Dian says. “All we can do is hope he doesn’t cause much damage if he starts to struggle.”

Kenji grips his fist. “Fine then. Let’s go, I have faith that Repi will be there!”

“How do you know?”

“I can feel it, it’s the Bond the two of us share. The two of us will never ever miss the potential for a battle, no matter what!”

Dian smiles. “Okay then let’s go, Dad said he’d be there waiting on us, and Oriana will be there too.”

“Alright, let’s win this thing!” Kenji yells out. “We’ll prove our power and make our way to the next stage!”

Dian walks ahead and leaves Kenji behind. “Hurry up or your walking to the stage!”

“Oh right.”

On a platform inside of the stage, Toshiro stands around with Oriana staring out into the distance. Kenji leaps onto a docked disk as it floats, he hunches over in pain grabbing the railing as Toshiro watches on. Kenji forces himself to stand gripping the rails as he takes off towards the sky.

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Oriana asks. “Kenji can barely stand, navigating the disk is…”

“Even if I wanted to stop him, he wouldn’t let me. That boy has way too much pride in himself, he won’t listen to anyone if the match is on the line.” Toshiro says.

Dian walks up to the pair in her jumpsuit as she looks up at the two. “Yeah, and that pride of his is going to get him killed one day, but as long as he gets the job done that’s all that matters.”

“That’s pretty cold Dian,” Oriana says.

“Well we’ve got a lot on the line, but sure let’s go easy on the kid,” Dian says walking ahead.

Toshiro smiles. “Come on now Dian. You and Kenji have won two matches, truly believe in you two.”

“None of that will matter if we lose,” Dian says annoyed. “Okay everyone let’s get into position, the games about to begin.” She says staring up at the sky.

In the middle of the city, the crowds gather outside of a giant barrier as the loud echoes of giant creatures’ echoes across the city. The crowds begin to cheer with excitement as everyone across the city tunes into the upcoming battle. As the excitement and tension begins to boiling point for everyone around the announcer descends to look upon the crowds with a large smile on her face.

“Alright everyone we’re coming close to the final rounds of this little competition. So, with that said we have our next competitors here to battle for their teams’ respective glory!” She yells out with an intense glee in her voice. “So, without further to do are you all ready to get this Kaiju Brawl ready!?”

“Yeah!” The crowd roars unable to hold their excitement.

“Okay, let’s begin the battle first in the red corner are the newcomers hoping to make their pro dream come true Team Saurian with Repigigas!” She yells out.

A loud roar comes from within the stage with Repigigas stomping ahead with electricity sparking across its body as it moves ahead.

“Oh, my it seems someone’s raring to fight today. Repigigas seems to be rather aggressive now, I wonder how the blue corner Team Squidy with Tentomass will handle this situation?”

A large tentacle wraps itself around a building as a large squid-like monster slithers around towards the center of the stage. It’s clammy and wet skin glistening in the lights as its large bulbous eyes scan the area.

“Wow, the squid that can walk Tentomass has returned to the ring, let’s see if either of these two are able to perform a clean sweep and win all of their matches!?” She says excitedly as she holds out her hand holding up three fingers. “The battle between the top two contenders begins in…”

“Three!” She yells out as she holds out her fingers with the audience cheering with both Minders getting into position.

“Two!” The crowd cheers as a pair of flying disk float down from above flying towards their respective Kaiju.

“One!” Everyone yells out as the announcer flies off up towards the sky.

“Kaiju Brawl, Begin!”

Repigigas rushes ahead opening its mouth as Tentomass wraps itself up around the sides of a building. It leaps rapidly as Repi’s bite misses with the large squid leaps off of the building and latches onto another one.

“What the?” Kenji asks staring at the squid Kaiju. “The way it moves.”

“Am I in?” Dian asks.

“Dian?”

“Good, how’s it going? It’s hard to keep this Bond from running out-of-control right now.” Dian says struggling. “You better end this mess quickly are Repi is going to go nuts.”

Kenji stares at Repi. “Right, alright please listen Repi.”

Repigigas stomps around roaring loudly as electricity flies across the area up into the sky. Thunderbolts rain down across the area with Tentomass quickly swinging itself between buildings to avoid the strikes.

“Well that’s not what I asked for, but it’s something,” Kenji says happily.

Repi roars stomping towards Tentomass. As it moves Tentomass flings itself into the air and shoots out several large blobs of ink. The ink hits Repigigas who roars out annoyed as the surrounding electricity intensifies. Fueled by anger Repi shoots out a large blast of electricity out towards its foe.

“Come on Repi at least aim before you fire,” Kenji says struggling to stand.

“He’s just firing off attacks, at this rate he’ll run out of electricity before too long,” Dian says.

Kenji clenches his fist. “Come on Repi listen to me already!”

Repigigas roars out stomping around as its tails swing around smashing into the nearby buildings. Its body sparks wildly and as it stomps ahead with Tentomass leaping in between buildings avoiding it.

“I can already tell their plan, they’re going to wait us out until Repi’s electric shield is gone and then they’re going to strike,” Dian says.

Kenji closes his eyes and focuses on Repigigas. “Come on, come on, come on.” He says to himself as Repi stomps around. “Come on and listen to me already!”

Dian floats in a black space holding the link connecting Kenji and Repigigas as it flails around wildly growing wilder as Kenji yells. She struggles to contain it only for it to grow worse and then slowly rip and tear.

“Kenji you idiot!” Dian yells out.

“Dian, what’s wrong?” Kenji asks.

“Whatever you're doing you're just making it worse. Your Bond with Repi is breaking soon Repigigas will be nothing more than a rampaging Kaiju.”

Kenji struggles to stand as a terrible pain echoes through his body. “What is this?”

“Kenji what’s wrong?”

“It hurts everything hurts,” Kenji says.

He falls to the bottom of his disk barely holding onto the rails as Repigigas roars out its cries echoing throughout the city. It smashes everything in sight as its tails cleave through buildings and its electricity burns concrete. Tentomass climbs to the top of a skyscraper looking down from above as everyone watches as Repigigas rampages.
