After last night, I told David to let me have a few days to be human. I spent the whole weekend with Jackie, Joe, Jacob, and Lea. I had fun, but I would have more fun if David was here.
'No Jessica! Your here to get some thought about him and to have fun with human friends,' I thought.
However, it wasn't long until I ran into Kelsey. “What are you doing here you little girl? Aren't you supposed to be with my baby brother?”
Jackie was behind me and said, “Who the hell do you think you are?”
“Jackie, don't. I told David I wanted a day alone, and he agreed.”
She laughed, “Look sweetheart, he didn't agree because he's right behind you.”
I turned to find David standing there. “Yeah, I'm here. Kelsey, why don't you go with Madison and shop some more. I'll be right behind you.”
“Fine, baby brother,” she said so innocently. She walked away with a girl, I assumed that was Madison.
“What are you doing here,” I asked, turning towards him.
“Kelsey said she wanted me to take her to the mall. She ran into Madison, and we just ran into. I forgot you were going to be here today. I'm sorry.”
“It's fine,” I said.
“Baby brother, come on,” Kelsey cried.
“I'm coming. I love you, Jess.” He kissed me and left.
“Yeah, I love you, too,” I whispered. All of my friends starred at me. “What? You haven't seen a girl kiss a guy before?”
“We haven't seen you kiss anyone before,” Jackie said.
I starred at her in amusement. “Yeah, anyway,” I felt dizzy all of a sudden.
I wonder why today was different. Why do I feel this way? Why is my mind going in circles? What's happening to my life?
The next thing I see is my room. I was starring at the ceiling. “How did I...,” I stopped before I finish. He was there. He was sitting on my desk chair.
He looked up from his book, “Jessica, you okay?” He put the book down and came to me.
“Yeah, what happen?”
“You passed out.”
“When?” I couldn't recall anything after walking in the mall with my friends.
“You saw me and Kelsey again, and you said you wanted me to drive you home since Jackie and you had a fight. Then, I told Kels I would be home late, and then I walk back to you. When I saw you, Jackie's fist was deep in your face. I got her off, though. You must have knocked out.”
“Oh,” I don't remember any of that.
“Yeah, so I'm going go. I just wanted you to know I love you, and I'll see you tomorrow.” He kissed me briefly and left threw the window.
I guess tomorrow will be a good day. I guess I have to apologize to Jackie, too. I just can't wait until tomorrow.
