Hi! Kathara here.
I wanted to have this small space to say thank you to every one of you following this story. Even more to the non-mexicans since aztec mythology isn't a easy topic to follow when you get neck-deep into it. If it was difficult for me to break down twenty or so books information, and organize it, I can't imagine what some foreigners might go through getting into this story.
It isn't going to be history lesson either, though. My goal is to make all the tedious bunch of research into a fun, modern fantasy story.
I hate going in a slow pace atm, but it's everything I can do right now to update in time.
Thank you again for reading every week! I'll keep working hard!
MATEO, GREET YOUR FLUFFY NAHUAL. Mexican ancient history is something else, am I right? But I also enjoy studying about it. Aaaand thanks to you for writing and drawing this story for us. Tbh I've never read a comic like this and it makes me happy and exciteddd aaaa it's just great!
Aztec myths never were more than a middle school History lesson, and nothing Mateo cared much of.
When his soul essence accidentally frees an unusually kind death god, and his nahual reveals himself to him, all those "fantasy" tales will dig up themselves from the bowels of Mexico City, along with his own origins.
