The Alpha's Breeder

One : Of Youth And Risks

One : Of Youth And Risks

Nov 24, 2018

Many people on this earth have always obsessed over having a youthful appearance. They try to look as young as possible with the help of Botox injections and extreme surgeries to achieve those results.

Unfortunately for me, none of those are necessary.

Now at the age of 30, I don't look a day older than 18.

No wrinkles, no sagging, no crows feet.

Nothing.

Nada.

Zilch.

It is as if I stopped aging at the age of 18.

For what reason? I have no idea.

As time gradually flew by, my curiosity got the best of me.

I spent a majority of my time in the library, reading and analyzing different books that seemed slightly logical for my 'condition'.

The years of research led me to beings that were written in story books, beings that were said to be nonexistent and far more powerful than any other creature alive.

The immortals, also known as the supernaturals.

At first, I was skeptical.

My science background made it fairly hard for me to believe in them and I doubted myself every step of the way because of it.

But then again, how can I say that supernaturals don't exist when I'm a living representative of 'abnormality'.

After graduating college with a degree in laboratory science, I had trouble trying to find samples of creatures that were believed to be unreal.

But then, if I existed, there had to be others like me.

And I knew that the average Joe---Jane like me wouldn't be able to get anywhere near these supernatural beings.

The only other option that I deemed probable was that, perhaps, the government would have more information on them.

With that assumption, I enrolled myself into rigorous experimentation for the government in search of answers for my genetic oddity.

Being a laboratory scientist like me, getting my hands on the equipment was hard without fully working under the government.

While there, I was taught the skills and experience needed to splice genes and decode what different genetic traits meant.

But most importantly, I got my hands on the different samples of the super beings blood.

Although I was only in charge of analyzing their DNA through their blood, I am just as guilty as any other in this governmental facility for the aid in their extinction.

It wasn't my intention to do so and I am extremely regretful in my involvement.

I should have been grateful that I didn't age, that my appearance remained the same after so many years. My boobs didn't sag neither did my butt; however, there would be too much risk to walking around like that.

With our government cracking down on supernatural beings, I would probably be locked down, caged like an animal and tested for the purpose of finding out how they could achieve this ability to stop aging.

I was scared to be caged like how they caged the vampires and werewolves.

Working for the government under tight control was already a rather risky thing to do, especially if said government had so much information over supernatural beings and I happened to be classified as one. So in order to keep myself from becoming their prey, I had to find a way to make myself seem 'normal'.

Through the years, I had to hide my true features every single day.

I slapped on thick layers of makeup to make it seem like I had slight beginning wrinkles and tight lines, wore thick rimmed glasses and tied my hair into a small bun at the back of my head to make myself seem more mature.

All the clothes I wore and owned were always three sizes too big in order to keep myself hidden from prying eyes.

But essentially, I just wanted to make myself look as if I had aged more than in my high school years. I only wanted to keep attention off of myself in any way that I could think of.

No one noticed any oddities about me and I was able to get my hands on the samples that I needed.

For the first six months, I dabbled with the otherworldly creatures, including but not limited to vampires, witches, elementals, shifters, and werewolves.

None of which my DNA matched to.

At first, with my non-aging genes, I had thought myself to be some descendant of a vampire as they do not age and tend to look rather youthful no matter the centuries that they have lived.

I knew I wasn't but it didn't hurt to check.

Turns out, after several tests and experimentations later, I wasn't.

Bummer.

Then the process repeated over and over again.

To this day, I am still unable to find what was in my blood that made me unable to age.

And this entire situation was driving me insane with guilt.

I felt as if I was literally suffocating while staring at creatures that were very much similar to me.

I never really had the time to date either, especially with my freakish natures. Anyone who stayed with me could discover my secret.

That would be a big no no.

Not even a year of working at the facility, I decided to quit with my experimentation and the job in general.

But, good news, today is officially the last day of work for the government!

Hallelujah to that!

I knew that they would still be stalking me, trying to see if there was anything suspicious before finally letting me off the hook.

At least that's what I would like to think.

"What the hell was that?" my lab partner, Asuka Shinamoto, said when a loud crash of some sorts startled us from continuing our work.

And before anyone could make a reply, the shrill sounds of alarms started blaring.

Red lights flashed before my vision as my mouth quickly went dry with rising panic and fear.

Nice! We get some insights into the world building without it being overwhelming. I like the fact that the MC is a scientist and questions the validity of what seems to be an illogical truth. You leave it with a cliffhanger. :D Nice.

"It has taken me far too long to find you. How could I let go of you?" he rumbled softly as if in contemplation, "How could I reject the best part of me?"

His voice is deep and velvety with a husky undertone that seems to become even more heated with every word he speaks. I find myself completely enthralled by his longing tone of voice.

"I will give you time, mate. But it does not mean I will stand by and watch you without attempting to...entice you," he rumbled out with this really sinfully erotic voice that caused my heart to stumble.

I think he already has me where he wants me.
