“I’ll see you later,” Hale replies letting go of Ace’s hips, Ace smiles and heads to the front door. Ace walks out and gets in the taxi, he grabs out his phone.

“Hey, I’ll be stopping by my apartment to check on Honey and then I’ll come right over, Apollo hasn’t texted me so I think I’m done for the day. I’m not sure though,” Ace texts.

“Oh ok, if you want you can bring her here. I could watch her if you have to go, I wouldn’t want her to stay by herself,” Jax texts.

“I think she ok alone, cat’s don’t really like company all the time but if you really want. I’ll bring a bag of food with just in case,” Ace texts.

“Sounds good, text me went you’re on your way back. Also, I got your note it was cute. I’m kinda upset you left with giving me a kiss but it’s fine, also thanks for putting me on the bed. The ground was not comfortable, lol,” Jax texts.

“I’m sorry, I wanted to let you sleep. Also, you’re welcome it was kind of a struggle. I’m not the strongest person, lol,” Ace texts.

A few minutes pass and Ace gets out of the car, he walks up to the door and types in the code. The door clicks and he pushes it open, “You’re back, that’s surprising,” a girl says sitting on the counter.

Ace turns and looks at her, “Hey, Dakota was it?” He smiles walking over to her.

“Shut up,” Dakota says jumping off the counter and hitting his shoulder.

“I missed you,” Ace says hugging her.

“Me too, where have you been?” Dakota asks letting go of Ace.

“I’ve been staying with someone, how is Honey?” Ace asks looking at her.

“She’s good, not missing you at all,” Dakota says as she smiles, “Come on,” She says running up the stairs. Ace follows, he gets to the top of the stairs and sees his apartment door open. He walks in and shuts the door, “Honey~~,” Dakota calls as she looks around the living room. All of a sudden a tiny black head pops out of one of the cupboards, Ace turns his head and smiles. Honey’s pupils go big as she jumps out of the cupboard and runs over to Ace, he holds his arms open.

Honey jumps up and Ace catches her, “You look so good, so healthy,” He says petting her head.

Honey purrs as she licks his face, “You’re welcome,” Dakota says walking over to Ace, “Are you taking her, is that why you’re here?” She asks petting Honey.

“Yeah, but just for tonight. Maybe a few days, I’m not sure,” Ace says handing Honey to Dakota.

“You know I won’t be taking care of her if you take her with you,” Dakota says setting Honey down, “You’ll have to do that yourself,” She says watching Ace fill a bag with food.

“I know, she’ll be coming back I promise,” Ace says zipping up the bag.

“If she doesn’t all I ask is that I’m able to say goodbye,” Dakota says laughing, “But seriously if you take her and I don’t get to say goodbye I will find you,” Ace shakes his head and smiles.

“I wouldn’t do that, now can you pack up her stuff?” Ace asks grabbing down a plastic bag and putting the food into it. Dakota growls as she walks to the bathroom, grabbing the litter box and litter. She walks back out and sets them down by the bag, “Thanks, I think I should be heading out then. I’ll be back in the next week probably, please keep checking up on the apartment. I’ll bring the money next time I’m here,” Ace says grabbing the bag, Dakota shakes her head and grabs Honey.

“I’ll help you out,” She says as he walks towards the door.

“Thanks, the taxi should be here,” Ace says opening the door and heading down the stairs, they get outside and see the car.

Ace opens the door and sets the bag down, Dakota hands him Honey, “Text me went you’re coming back so I can stop by,” She says hugging Ace tightly.

“I will, thanks again for helping me I really appreciate it,” Ace says squeezing her tightly, Dakota smiles.

“I’ll see you next week, maybe,” Dakota says letting Ace go.

“Yeah, stay out of trouble,” Ace says scruffing up her hair and kissing her head.

“I’ll try, same to you,” Dakota says waving to him as he shuts his door. Ace smiles as the taxi drives away, Dakota frantically jumps in the air waving. Ace chuckles and shakes his head.
