Yet again, I have to split this in two. I didn't realize these episodes were as long as they were. Later on, I put more content on one page to save space.
But anyway, I still like this one as far as writing. You can tell I wanted better artwork. So there was a lot of experimentation going on in this one. At the time I thought it was good. Now it kinda sucks, but that's nothing new. Still, I think I was starting to turn a corner with it.
I realize I've gone all this time without mentioning my friend Zack, who helped me out with story ideas and acted as a kind of beta-reader. He suggested a story where Stardust thinks his owner is a prostitute and I took and ran with it.
Stardust the Cat is a comic series created by Stephen Leotti. It debuted in September 2012 and concluded in December 2014.
The plot centers around Stardust, a cat who is unsatisfied with life, despises his owner, and has nothing better to do than watch TV and be angry at commercials.
One day, a mouse named Freddie comes to live in his house. Stardust, being too lazy too care, let's him live there. Over time, the two become closer and even start to become friends.
Eventually, Stardust meets a girl, Naomi, whom he becomes romantically involved with. But learns she has something of a dark past. Now he must decide whether he wants to be with her, as it could risk both of their lives.
