Stan ended up dragging Bradley to another room connected to the room. It looked like to be an office, a small one. Way smaller than the one he was in for counseling. And there was barely wall, more of a huge window where the others could see the two. Which three of the other people came on over to the window. Another was slightly close to the window, but not directly by it like most of the people. And the last person was far away from the window, minding their own business unlike some people.
Stan closed the door and went over to his small, messy desk, and sat in a worn out chair. The chair sank in a bit when he sat in it. Bradley held in a laugh as he glanced around for a seat. Stan cleared his throat and gestured at the lumpy, green bean bag in front of his desk. Bradley glanced at it then him, before slowly getting down to sit in it. He sank in it, and immediately tried to regain his composure, since he was already short.
“Look Bradley-”
"Don't call me Brad-ley until I'm hap-py, Stan-ley." Bradley interrupted.
"It's Stan." Stan says sighing.
"And I'm Brad." Bradley replies back.
Stan opened his mouth then shut it, before picking up a clipboard. He ruffled with the papers on the clipboard, flipping pages and wrote quickly, seemed to be furiously. Probably about how Bradley had serious issues or something. All Bradley knew is that it couldn't be anything good.
"Okay, look. I don't want you here as much as you don't want to be here." Stan says while writing.
"Gee, I can tell. How rude." Bradley scoffs and Stan took in a deep breath letting out.
"I have been nice to you, I have had patience with you this whole time. If you want to leave then you need to behave. And not just to get the green card, but afterward too. Or you'll just end up back here or somewhere worse." Stan says looking from the clipboard at Bradley.
"Green card? I'm from America you know." Bradley said causing Stan to pinch his temples.
"Think back to school. Kindergarten for example." Stan pointed out and flipped some pages, before turning his clipboard in Bradley's direction. "This is where you are." he said pointing in the blue area with his pen. "You need to get up to here." he said moving the pen to the green area.
“So all I need to do is behave?” Bradley asks staring at the chart for a while before looking at Stan.
“And improve, not just behave. Even though behaving probably would be improving, but you need more than that to be let go.” Stan explains.
“I'll do what I can.” Bradley mutters glancing at the clothes pin, with his name written on it, clipped in the blue area
