Words or Rocks?
Your words hit like rocks, leaving marks on my body.
Can't you see it hurts? Blood streams down with each word you tell me. Haven't you outgrown me yet?
Do you have to leave me scarred? I am not your play toy.
The rocks keep flying around my head like whispers.
I'm scared but I took a leap of faith, or a leap of death actually. Your words make me sink to the bottom so fast, like rocks weighing me down.
They leave scars, yes. And I will remember this, yes.
But not you, never again will words feel like rocks. The rocks made me stronger then you will ever be.
Do I care? No. Hit me as much as you like. Tag my body with scars if you please.
But never again will I be held down!
And that's a promise I make now.
