“Is he the one you like?” Carter asks watching Ace look for the cats.

“Yeah, but he likes some else. I told him if he ever needed me he could have me,” Apollo says smiling as Ace finds Ghost.

“Apollo look, I found him. He’s the cutest little kitten ever,” Ace says rubbing his face on the cat, ‘Watch him for me as I look for Mimi,” Ace says handing the cat to Apollo.

“I think I saw her on the cat tree in the bedroom, it’s in front of the window. You can’t miss it,” Carter says smiling.

Ace smiles as he runs to the bedroom, Apollo sigh, “We’re having lunch with his crush,” He says looking over at Carter.

Carter smiles and shakes his head, “If you keep acting like this they’ll see you’re jealous. I mean I’m guessing Ace already knows but this other guy doesn’t and you don’t want him too. So just pretend like you guys are just friends,” Carter says messing up Apollo’s hair.

“We are just friends, that’s the problem I-” Apollo says as Ace interrupts.

“I found her,” Ace says carefully caring Mimi into the living room, “I kinda scared her when I woke her up, she’s good now though,” he says sitting down on the couch.

“She’s so pretty,” Carter says petting the cat.

“I know, her eyes are beautiful,” Ace says looking into the cat's eyes, “She’s blind right?” He asks looking up at Apollo.

“Yeah, she’s been blind for the past seven years,” Apollo says looking at Ace.

Ace looks at the cat and smiles, “At least she can get around well,” He says checking the time, “We should probably head out soon, Jax gets done in about forty minutes,” Ace says petting Ghost.

“Whenever you’re ready I am. I might change first I wouldn’t want him to yell at me for wearing his clothes,” Apollo says setting Ghost down and walking to the bedroom.

“So I heard you have a crush,” Carter says not knowing what to talk about.

“I-it’s not really a crush, more like a client,” Ace says nervously looking down at the cat.

“Sounds like a crush to me, you see Apollo is kinda jealous of him,” Carter whispers to Ace.

“He-he is, why is he jealous of me?” Ace asks looking up at Carter, surprised.

“ I’m not sure, probably because he likes you and you like someone else,” Carter says laughing and leaning back into the couch.

“I never said I liked him and I’m not even sure how to tell if I have feelings, I’m kinda trying to get used to them,” Ace says as Mimi starts purring.

“Well, from what I hear about you and this other guy. It sounds like you like him, I mean you guys are living together,” Carter says listening to the cat.

“We’re not living together, I just don’t like being alone and I like to stay with people,” Ace says blushing.

“Ok, as long as you don’t lead my brother on I’m ok with whatever you do. I just wouldn’t want him getting hurt again,” Carter says closing his eyes.

“Again?” Ace asks as Apollo walks into the room.

“You ready to go?” Apollo asks grabbing the keys, Ace nodded and got up from the couch.

“Well, it was nice meeting you. I hope we can do it again sometime,” Ace says hugging Carter.

“I hope we can too, also don’t forget about what I said,” Carter says quietly hugging Ace tighter.

“Before we go, where is your girlfriend?” Apollo asks looking at Carter.

“Oh, sleeping in the other room, she’s been working night shifts so she’s been sleeping during the day,” Carter replies letting go of Ace.

“Okay, well I’ll be back hopefully soon. Just don’t trash the place while I’m gonna,” Apollo says as Ace says goodbye to the cats.

“Now you’re acting like mom and dad,” Carter says laughing.

Apollo laughs, “I love you,” He says walking out the door.

“I love you too,” Carter says waving at them.

“He’s really nice, I like him,” Ace says as they get in the car.

“I’m glad, it seemed like he really likes you too,” Apollo says starting the car, “Now, type in the address so we can get there quickly,” He continues as he hands his phone to Ace, he starts driving waiting for directions.

“You turn left~,” Ace says as he continues giving Apollo directions. They finally arrive at the cafe and hurry inside.

“Oh, Hi guys. Glad you could make it, I’m starving,” Jax says walking over to them.

“I’m glad cause that means you will eat more,” Ace says as they get a table.
