"I told you not to touch them."
"I know."
"Tsk tsk tsk..." Chemy said, walking around the lab he shared with his brother.
"I told you not to touch them, but did you listen? Nope. No you did not."
"Yes I'm aware." Tim grumbled.
"And now look at you! Stuck to the ceiling with no one to help you but me." Chemy laughed. "Life is a very funny thing, don't you think brother mine?"
Tim hung his head in defeat, not knowing what else to do.
You see, he was curious about some of the things Chemy had been working on, and though he knew that he was never to touch Chemy's things, he did anyway.
And thus, some sort of chemical exploded and he ended up stuck to the ceiling.
"Are you going to help me down or not?" Tim deadpanned.
"Eventually." Chemy started "I think you need to learn your lesson though."
Tim whined. "Please have mercy on my poor soul, I hadn't the slightest idea of what I was messing with."
"Obviously."
Tim groaned.
"Chemy? Chemy where are you? I got hear as quick as I could!" A voice sounded from the hall.
Tim's head shot up.
"You didn't."
"Oh but I did." Chemy smiled. "We're in here Ria!"
Chemy walked closer to his brother. "I thought having the girl you're infatuated with see you in such a position would cement it in your mind to never touch my chemicals ever again."
Ria walked into the lab and paused, trying to take in the situation.
Her two best friends were in their lab.
Normal.
One of them was stuck to the ceiling by some unidentifiable substance.
Slightly less normal.
"Timothy here touched my chemicals and got himself stuck to the ceiling."
Ria snorted and then let out a full blown laugh at her friend who's face was steadily going red with embarrassment.
"Timothy dear everyone knows not to mess with whatever it is Chemy makes! How much of an idiot do you have to be to end up in a situation like this?" she laughed
Tim whined hanging his head in shame.
"I was just curious!"
"Curiosity is the mother of idiotic ideas." Chemy stated plainly.
"Is not." Tim pouted.
"Well Ria dear," Chemy turned to his shorter friend, ignoring his brother's words. "What's say you and I go out for a bite while Tim here has some time to think about his life choices?"
"That sounds wonderful Chemy darling." Ria smiled, linking arms with him and walking out the door.
"You guys can't seriously leave me here!" Tim shouted.
"Oh but I must brother mine," Chemy started. "Maybe this will teach you not to touch my damn chemicals."
