Watching Fandoms Die

I've been seeing this happen lately and it breaks my heart that fans of a book or game or movie won't call themselves fans or say their in a fandom because of a few bad people in the fandom. And then I see these AMAZING artist leave the fandom and it's just... ugh! (but hey, it's their choice if they want to leave a fandom or not)
