The bell rang and 2 of my other subjects are done. It was already lunch and instead of heading to the canteen, I head to the library. I mostly skip lunch a lot so I can go here to read the new novels they release every month. Basically the library is my Netflix. You have a various choices of books to pick from, but you still can't find one.
My preferences for novels is simple, it should ALWAYS have romance. I'm a big sucker when it comes to love stories. Anything with romance, I will read or watch. Second to romance is coming of age films. My goodness, THE EDGE OF SEVENTEEN is one of my favourite movies after it was released.
I like this types of movies and novels because it gives me hope. That even if I'm fat, I can still be loved by someone. But then reality hits me again when a pencil fell almost right on top of my head. I looked up "Sorry, can you bring it up here please" some random stranger asked.
I went up and saw them making a banner. "Woah, what's all this for" I asked "Oh, it's for Romeo's campaign" the guy with brown curly hair responded. "Of course it is" I put a sarcastic tone on it, "What's the point of making a banner if he's basically promoting himself every hour" "Yeah, it's kinda obvious that he'll win. Hi, my name is John" we shook hands. "Prince" I said, "Why are you helping him anyway". "Well, our club. The chess club, is getting annoyed by our school’s dance group upstairs. Their heavy stomping is distracting us on our game.”
“So what does this have to do with Romeo”. “Well he said if we help him out, he’ll ask the dance group to transfer rooms with the school’s news paper team. Which has a bigger room than the room upstairs since from all the desk work they’ve been doing”. “Well, at least both parties have a fair trade” I said “At least his making more effort than last year’s school council president”. “Ugh, tell me about it. Our club was bamboozled by him since he told us to suck it up and just ignore the dance club”.
“That’s terrible leadership, at least he got some experience out of it”. “I hope he uses it to become a better leader in senior high”. Then the bell rang, “Well, see you tomorrow Prince”. He took the banner with him,”See you tomorrow new friend”. He saluted me.
