With great reluctance Em gave the tank another look, though she could not bring herself to step inside.
It was rather large, more than five feet in diameter, and the glass, upon closer inspection, was rather thick. Very durable. It would have taken a blow of great strength to crack through.
There was blood near the cracked glass. Small blackening remnants beside the hole.
Em realized that the glass pieces might come in handy, so she picked one up carefully and slipped it into her pocket. She'd have to remember that it was there in case she found something to wrap it in. The sharp edges could make a devastating cut if only she could wield it without injuring herself.
So Em stood and decided to leave the room. She'd looked at just about everything in here anyway, the next thing to do was explore the dark hallways.
