After Lee got away from us at the Christmas tree farm he seemed to like his taste for freedom. Lee was a regular escape artist when he was little. We learned the hard way you could not leave him for a second outside. Mom and Dad had a 4 foot fence built in the backyard thinking that would prevent anymore mishaps. Unfortunately Lee scaled the fence the first chance he got. So next we had the builder add 2 more feet to the top and extended it with wire into the yard. It looked like a penitentiary.

Some people asked why we had such a large fence, particularly the mailman was pretty curious. Other folks wanted to know what wild animal we had in the back.
