**The picture is of the doctor! I didn't use a usual one because i sort of wanted it to be original, but i picked out the picture after i wrote this chapter. it was originally going to be Stephen Armell but then i found out this guy was his brother and i remembered him playing Freddie in the Scooby doo movie so i was like why not! P.S. He's 25 so i'm portraying him to look that way! Thank's for reading!***
Bella Washburn was walking around time square. It was later at night, around five thirty. She liked to come here, to write, it gave her ideas. Places, people, things all around the world that the doctor would see. She had a dream last night, which the doctor had crash landed on the island of Tephareti on Jupiter. He couldn't get away from these large spiders like creatures that spoke German, and his plan was not to. He needed to get them to get close enough so the T.A.R.D.I.S could send a sonic blast just big enough to make each and every one of them explode. When he had finished his plans he set off on another journey. Usually that part would be given in her dreams so she could write a next time part, but not this time, so her readers would be left with a very inconclusive ending.
She started having these dreams when she was 16; it's been four years now. Five in a few months, if you were really counting. It wasn't but a few weeks after she had the dreams that one of her friends tells her about the TV. show. She started watching it but there was one problem, the man on the screen wasn't the man in her dreams....
When she realized that he regenerated she started to wonder if her Doctor did too. And her doctor didn't have companions like this one, or at least known that she knew of. When she reached the end of the series she noticed something very particular. The date, the date that Doctor Who ended, it was her 16th birthdate. The day her dreams started. If it had anything to do with it, she had no idea. All she knew is every night she looked forward to seeing her doctor again, even if he couldn't see her. Tonight she would see him again, so she quickly wrote her story from last night's dream and went back home before the dangers of the city could lurk out at her.
Arriving back at her place she set her stuff on the counter and decided it best to jump in the shower. The smell of New York sometimes wasn't a good one. She jumped in the shower and got put a robe on. Drying her hair and then doing her normal routine. Eat dinner, check voicemail on home phone, update another story on tapas and then jump in bed. She fell asleep as fast as she could, soon dreaming about her doctor again. This time was different though; this time the doctor was in a more familiar place. Her home.
She didn't talk, cause like usual he couldn't see her. She got out of bed and walked around him, yep that was her doctor. Still as beautiful as ever, she had loved every aspect of him. He was funny too, making it even better. The doctor walked around and scoped out the apartment, then opened her fridge and grabbed a juice box. She laughed and continued to watch his every move. He looked up in the cupboards and then in the freezer. He pulled out a TV. Dinner and read the back of the box, then tried to figure out the oven. "How does this work?" He continued to fidget with it and then turned around. It felt like he was looking right at her. "So? Are you going to help me with this or just stare all night? I'm very hungry." Belle's eyes got as wide as possible. This was the first time he had ever seen her! She couldn't believe it; she walked over to the oven and turned it on to the right temperature. She then popped the dinner into the microwave and sat down at the counter. He leaned on the counter with both his hands placed under his chin. "So why are you following me?" he said with a smirk on his face. "I mean, I know I'm good looking and all but..."
"You can see me" Belle said cutting him off abruptly. She still couldn't believe it. Not ever before could he, but now, he could. "I'm not blind; I can see a beautiful girl in front of me. In this case you might not be beautiful but you're not ugly." Her jaw dropped at the insult, "How rude! You come into my home, eat my food and insult me! And I'll let you know I am very beautiful!" She was steaming with anger as he looked at her amused. "Yes, drop dead gorgeous actually if I may say so." What?! He had just insulted her and now this! The nerve this guy had, no wonder he didn't have companions like the men on TV, he was so rude! "How come you weren't able to see me before? After all these years, why now?" She looked the man in the eyes. He thought for a minute and then the timer went off. He reached on top of the fridge to grab a heat pad and grabbed his dinner out of the oven. Taking a seat and then eating his dinner as she just watched him. He had sat in front of the TV as he did, she had the last episode of doctor who still. It was playing; she had continued to watch it thinking it might give a clue someday. He looked at it intently; the look in his eyes made it clear he knew what he was seeing. Belle walked over and sat down next to him, "Have you seen this episode before?" She looked at him as he nodded, "You could say that. Do they really think I used to look like that?" Belle laughed and he looked at her. "What's so funny?" She just kept laughing and looking at the TV. "You used to look different then? So you do regenerate?" He looked at her with a duh stare; making her feel more than stupid. "So if you regenerate then other things in this show, the companions, place, creature. Were those all real too? Like it all happened?"
He got up and threw his empty plastic plate that the dinner came in away. "Yes, a long long time ago. But, as for how they know them. I'd like to know that too. But you said earlier, that for years now, you've been with me?" Belle looked down at her feet just now realizing how stalkish it sounded. "Yea, but you never seen me. They were just dreams; nothing real."
The doctor shook his head. "I'll be a judge of how very real they were. Tell me, what happened in these dreams?" Belle thought for a minute, but she could do very well better than tell him. She ran to the other side of the room and grabbed her journal. It contained some of the latest dreams she had had. She ran back over to the doctor and handed them to her. He looked at her puzzling and then opened the book and started to read aloud. "The doctor came again last night; he was hung over a demon hell hole. The creatures called Urfranian Caterpillars jumping to try and eat the doctor. He was brave as usual; devising a plan like always. His plans were as brilliant as always. This time though he had less of an advantage. Due to his lack of...clothes." He looked up from the reading and glanced at Belle who made sure not to keep eye contact, and then continued to flip the pages skimming each one. He had gotten to the last page, her dream from last night. "The doctor had crash landed on the island of Tephareti on Jupiter. He couldn't get away from these large spiders like creatures that spoke German, and his plan was not to. He needed to get them to get close enough so the T.A.R.D.I.S could send a sonic blast just big enough to make each and every one of them explode. When he had finished his plans he set off on another journey." With that he closed the journal and looked at her. "Where did he go?" Belle shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know, it never told me. The dream ended; usually you said where you were going before the dream ended. It always left me thinking what the new place would bring. But last night, there was nothing. What happened doctor?" He looked up at her and walked over to hand her back her journal. "I decided to some home. This place, used to be mine. Many years ago though, no hard feelings when you move out though."
"Excuse me?" Belle looked at the man enraged again because of the way he was being. Not like the man in her dreams that's for sure. She knew one thing for sure though, and that was that she wasn't going to be leaving. This was her home now, not his. "I'm not leaving." He walked over to the bedroom and looked around. "I might have to make a few changes, but other than that I like what you did with the place." Belle looked at the man who still walked around her house like he owned the place. "I think it's time you leave." She walked into her bedroom to where he was standing and motioned toward the door. He turned around and looked at her. "Are you sure about that? By the way you talked about me in those stories; I'd think your dreams finally came true. I mean, I am the doctor, the one and only." He smiled and turned around continuing to scope out the room. "Doctor who?" Belle asked; but when she did he turned around abruptly and glared at her. "Dangerous question doll."
"What's wrong with dangerous? I've been there with you when things get dangerous, what's different about this?" Belle sat down in her chair and looked at him waiting for answers. "You don't even know me. A strange man walks into your house, comes out of nowhere, and your still here, why?" Belle folded her hands in front of her and continued to look at the man. "I see, you're not going to answer my question until I answer yours? What are you five?" He looked at her and she laughed.
"On the contrary doctor, I do know you. Very well actually; you could almost say on that personal level." She winked at him as he remembered the first story he read out loud making his face heat up from both embarrassment and slight anger. "Did you like what you seen doll?" Belle laughed and got up from her chair walking into the living room. The doctor followed her and saw what she was doing. She was walking aimlessly around the room. "What are you doing?" She looked over her shoulder and smiled at the doctor's question. "I'm answering your question. On how you got in here without me noticing?" She looked like a mime walking around a room. But then her foot kicked something hard, but there was nothing there. She knew better though; she knew her doctor. She knocked on the invisible door and it opened. "Gotcha!" She ran inside and even though she had seen it so many times before; she knew it was real now. The T.A.R.D.I.S was the machine the doctor traveled in. He stole it and has had it for what was forever for him. The unageing man who traveled in time and space; forwards and backwards all over the world and galaxies. This man had been about the stars, she was there for some of those trips; even if he hadn't known she did. "How did you do that?" He said as he walked in after her, the door shutting behind him. "I told her you doctor; I do know you." He looked at her and then walked to the middle of the T.A.R.D.I.S to the control panel. She jumped up to where he was and smiled as big as she possibly could. "Can we go somewhere? Or sometime?" He looked at her confused and then shook his head. "No." She looked at him hurt; she knew then that he wasn't the same doctor in her dreams. The doctor in her dreams jumped for adventure and defiantly never said no to a girl. He had had many of them from what she could see. He was a lonely man but he knew how to fill his time. Maybe what he said earlier he meant maybe she didn't appeal to him. But she didn't want to go to be intimate with the doctor; she wanted adventure and she knew he could give that to her. Not now though, he had made up his mind and she hers. With that she walked out of the T.A.R.D.I.S and back into her apartment. Hoping never to see the doctor again.
