Hearing these words after all they had done in the name of salvation had nearly broke Alyson McKenzie. Realizing she had only been adding to the worlds problems rather than fixing them, all Al wants is to be left alone and to atone for her sins: starting with putting an end to the man who began all of this. But it won’t be that easy, as she soon finds. Whether it was a curse or a twist of fate Al finds herself stuck with a group of some hopelessly optimistic adventurers from the guild Drifting Leaves who won’t take no for an answer. Despite her best efforts she can’t seem to shake them off; and she isn’t so sure that she wants to. Will Al find the happiness that had eluded her so long ago, or will she lose what little she has left?
