After the performance the actual program started. Some guy wearing what a casual 80's wanna be hip gangster walked on stage like a stereotypical cartoon bully. I'm sure it's all part of the performance. "Yo yo yo, what up and it's Rusty. "Today, I Rusty Nelson will be the speaker, the influencer and the bringer for you to vote the best leaders of the campus. Let's bring out the only TEAM T.BOMB" the crowd cheered but the football team cheered even louder. Even one of them said "Marry Me".

Before T.BOMB also known as TRUTH BOMB came out, the worst part happened. We needed to sit right there watching a 5 whole minutes of their promotional campaign video. I wish I could of sneak my phone and watch Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next video. Cause trust me, the cringe is real.

After that, Rusty introduced the candidates on what position they are gonna run. "And last but not the least, he's the leader of the football team, the MVP who brought the trophy back and is still in this school. And he has a perfect attendance since grade 8" the crowd cheered, and the football team also. "Please give it up for ROMEO TORRES!". And the crowd went wild. I don't know about the football team, it feels more than a cheer. It's sounding like they were all stabbed and then punched the criminal on the face.

All 5 of the candidates and Rusty sat down and it was the other groups turn. Since it was Austin's group I thought it would be more decent...

Apparently I was wrong, it's even worse. The guy who showed up was more obnoxious than Rusty. He was wearing a tie, sunglasses and a party hat, with a megaphone and an air horn in both hands. "GOOD MORNING MELLOW HIGH, ARE YOU READY FOR THE PARTY TO START" of course people cheered, but luckily that football team didn't. "I am the representative speaker of the group Legion of Justice to inform all that they will not only make the school great, but also make this year full of excitement. Please welcome the group. And the video started.

After both parties introduced their groups, they will now give out their proposals for the school. Some had proposals on the school cafeteria, the high school dance and some with their own personal proposition.

After that, there is always a tradition in this school where one group would leave and the other one would answer questions like what they would do in Miss Universe, but with students.

Everyone had their turn except for the presidents, first of is Austin. Mr.Banes gave the question, “Mr.Austin, if you become president of the school council. How would you lead the school to it’s former glory”. “Well, with hard work and dedication. This school can rise again with the right leaders and discipline from everyone. With this not only we will rise, but can be bigger than we could ever imagine. Thank you for that wonderful question sir” everyone clapped. “Thank you Mr.Austin, you could go in the back of the stage now”.

He went back and Romeo came on stage. “Mr.Torres, if you become president of the school council. How would you lead the school to it’s former glory”. He scratched the back of his head for a sec. There was silence for a few seconds. “Well, as my experience for being a leader. I’ve learned that I can’t achieve every single goal I had for the team if I do it alone. I learned that I cannot weigh everything around my shoulders just because it’s my responsibility as a leader. And I think this would best apply for me in a situation where I hold everything, as in EVERYTHING around my shoulders. And I even thou I have a team with me, I need everyone to help me raise this school up in it’s former glory. I am Romeo Torres and I thank everyone for listening”.

Ladies and Gentlemen. I present to you, Miss Universe 2018. I was impressed, that was the best school speech I heard in a while. I was not let down by him. He maybe an ass, but hey. It’s the school’s problem now if they found out his scandals.
