Warning: The story of Rainfurrest

Summary: Drugs, vandalism, assault, diapers, ambulances, poopy pool.

Rainfurrest 2015 was possibly the worst convention due to the attendees lack of common courtesy. They were absolutely disgusting people. Thankfully, there hasn't been a convention as bad as this one.

The first incident was when one idiot decided to mess around with the public toilets and flood the bathroom and most of the hallway in 2 and a half inches of toilet water (6.3 cm). A plumber came and fixed the issue, but that wasn't the end of the madness. 

Some fools actually turned off their smoke alarms just so they could vape. Some security (or something) were threatening to throw people out for doing that. 

Later, someone decided to throw all the pool towels into the pool and even break the pool pump. It doesn't end there-- someone went number two in the pool. This led to the closure of the con's pool and hot tub. Nitrous oxide canisters (a sort of sweet anesthesia drug) were found in hallways and in attendees rooms. 

Several people who were doing shrooms needed an ambulance, a staff member was arrested for sexual assault, another person was arrested for (plain) assault, a few others drank too much and needed an ambulance, and two more people were arrested, one for dealing drugs and the other for drug possession. 

Other people went around wearing diapers (without pants) like absolute buffoons and called it "crinkling". Some of these diapers were full and left out on the floor, in rooms, on hoods of cars... Food was also thrown around on the floor and down stairwells. 

There was a rumor that someone drilled a gloryhole (do not look that up if you're not at least 17) into a bathroom stall, but that was never confirmed.

"... You guys all be really good back to the hotel. You know the elevator buttons? You don't have to use your foot." But guess what happened a few hours later? It was out of order of course. 

The Hilton hotel sent Rainfurrest a list of reasons why it would not be allowed to their venues ever again. The damage Rainfurrest caused was more than that of all the other cons in 2015 combined. Rainfurrest had plenty of money to repair the damages but the Hilton declined and told them to be gone. 

Then Hilton began spreading the horrid tale of the havoc caused by Rainfurrest to other hotel chains and eventually, no convention center from Seattle to Bellingham California wanted to hold Rainfurrest 2016. 

Some detailed letters were sent to convention centers from the diaper flinging fiend explaining how terrible Rainfurrest was, increasing it's liability. Then Rainfurrest 2016 was cancelled. 

Later, convention staff promised to hold Rainfurrest 2017 which would be bigger and better. But that was cancelled too. Oh well. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
