The plane shook as the pilot flew toward the base. Smokes fill the air as the base was in total chaos.
"All hands, we are going in blind. I will attempt an emergency landing" The pilot announced over the speaker.
"Once the plane comes to a complete stop, I will turn on the green light and open the back hatch. At that moment get off the plane as fast as you can".
Voren and Anna looked at each other and nodded. They know what they must do.

Meanwhile on the ground.
Troops and personnel were defending the base as many were being killed and injured. The casualties and death counts were high and rising.
A burly man was standing in the command center giving out the order. That man is Major Armster Everglades, the commander of the base.
"How much longer till reinforcement arrive?" Major. Everglades asked out loud.
"Sir, we send out the request for aid to all neighboring bases. The closest base is Fort. Lockhart and their ETA is 10 mins" the communication officer reported.
Major. Everglades let out a grunt as he slapped his fist into the table enraged.
"Goddamit! We may not have 10 mins" he said disgruntled.
"A Plane carrying replacements for the base also nearby sir" the communication officer reported hopefully."But with the chaos going on, they are having a hard time landing safely".
"May God have mercy on us," said the major as he prayed for a miracle.

In the air, the plane was descending over the base as the pilot head to the airfield.
"my god....." said the 1st officer as he set his eyes on the battle enraging below them.
The sound of the plane engine caught the attention of two black gargoyle-like beasts as they took off after the plane. One of them was able to catch up to the plane power engine as it uses its powerful claw and tore up the plane left wing.
Lights and sounds went off in the plane cockpit as the pilot and his 1st officer try to maintain the plane.
"We're hit! We're hit! Brace for impact. All hands strap in!" The pilot shouted over the PA system.
The plane was coming in hot as the plane left wing bursting in smoke and going down fast. But it didn't stop the winged beasts as they gave chase attacking the plane as it goes down.
The plane landed roughly as the came down hard breaking off it's landing gear and losing parts as he sliding across the road run before coming to a stop meters away.
The unholy beasts were about to end it all as they begin to tear out the plane compartment when all the sudden they are tied up and fastened together tightly by a thin white string. There stood a young girl, no older than 14 holding a yo-yo. The girl smiled as she pulled the string costing it tighten rapidly around the two beasts until they were sliced and were nothing but a pile of chucks. Blood splashed everywhere and few drops hit her right cheek.
The young girl turned her attention to the pilots and waved at them.
"Mister pilot, it's okay to come out now. I took care of the two bully monsters for you" She said cheerfully.
The pilot opened the plane window as he waved back.
"thank you, little miss. You saved all out lives" He said gratefully."Are you any chance part of the DCU?"
The girl nodded as she pulled back her yo-yo and grip it in her hand. A DCU symbol can be seen on the yo-yo.
"Sgt.Megumin Sugihara. Class 0 operative from Fort. Lockhart at your service" She said smiling.
