I completely forgotten that Jekyll and Hyde aren't their real names! It totally slipped my mind that dad told me that "they" - whoever "they" are- gave them some other names; so, in school, I introduced them as Jekyll and Hyde and not

Neroli and Mauve! Hyde is Neroli and Jekyll is Mauve! I gotta remember that, but should I? Even if they corrected me in front of the whole class, everyone now calls them by those names instead... especially since we're reading "The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" in English class. This is so embarrassing, I'm gonna regret this for the rest of my life.

No wonder dad doesn't trust me with all that job information, my first day in public with them, and I messed up on the most basic information. I'm lucky that they covered my butt earlier, saying that only I could call them that, now my class thinks that it's a family nickname - but still, I should have rehearsed it or something!

And to top it all off, Addine wasn't even in school today, and I was really looking forward to seeing her reaction too.

Well, at least she didn't get to see that embarrassing introduction.
