“Um, I forgot my books” I slide down in the chair until he can only see half of my face.

“It’s ok here let’s go back to your place and we can stop and grab them but is it ok if we take your car mine is almost out of gas”

And at that point, I decided I should probably tell him I don’t have a car. I grab my skateboard out from under the table and say

“Yea I use this I don’t um really Um have a car.” I expected him to be like oh yea and think I’m stupid but instead he said

“Wow that’s really awesome”

So we talk for a few minutes about how I use a skateboard instead of a car because I don’t have one. We decided that we both need the exercise so we walked to my house. After a few study sessions, I think I started to develop feelings for him. I woke up this morning feeling like something was going to happen something good. I got up got dressed Josh texted me good morning. This started happening after we started studying and every morning I always got really happy when he texted me. I finished getting done, made sure my siblings were ready then left I got to school. As I was heading toward my locker saw a lot of people by my locker which wasn't normal. I walked to my locker and I don't know why but they made a path for me. Then I saw it in the middle of the ring of people I saw Josh on one knee holding a ring pop facing toward me. His entire face pink. Someone shut off the hallway lights and people turned on their phone flashlights. Someone pushed me from behind so I was closer to Josh. Josh smiled took a deep breath and asked “Jennifer black will you be my girlfriend” I turned so pink almost as pink as he was. I took the ring pop from his hand plopped it in my mouth. He stood up with a confused look on his face and the lights turned back on. “Hey turn the lights back off I haven't answered yet!” the lights went back out and I screamed “WHAT THE HELL OF COURSE” Josh looked so happy then yelled at the top of his lungs, “SHE SAID YES” then people started throwing confetti. After that, we all got detention after detention josh offered to walk me home. Josh walked me to my door and as soon as I opened the door I dropped my skateboard on the ground and ran inside
