"Hold the line! Hold!" Sgt. Hoover shouted as he and his men try to hold back the oncoming enemies.

 Battle been raging on for 20 minutes now. The DCU recon unit "Black bulls" of the 13th Recon corp still holding strong but casualties starting to affect the squad morale. 

Voren was ordered to guard the communication tent with Thomas while the rest of this squad was holding off the enemies.  He couldn't do anything as he watches his brothers and sisters fight.

Henry was positioned behind a Humvee with his sniper rifle behind the defensive line. "Shit...they just keep coming," he said to himself under his breath. 

 Hoover distracted with giving orders when a humanoid saw it chance took aim at Hoover. The creature extended his arm as it stretched across the battlefield toward Sgt. Hoover

"Sgt. Hoover! Watch out!" shouted Henry to warn Sgt. Hoover.

Sgt. Hoover took a dive to the right to dodge the attack. The enemy arm grazed Hoover left arm as Hoover hit the ground hard as he grunted.

The shout from Henry caught the creature attention as it turns its attention to him. The creature launches another attack only this time at Henry.

Henry who was not paying attention to the battle was struck in the neck killing him instantly.

Voren face went pale as he watches Henry dropped to the ground. He couldn't breathe. His stomach felt like it just dropped.

Thomas who was next to Voren let out a cry of agony as he ran toward his friend.

"Medic! Medic! Oh God Henry noo! Medic!" Thomas screamed at the top of his lung as he was powerless to do anything. 

"Please Henry...Please don't die.  Please...stay with me" Thomas begged but Henry didn't reply. Henry lay there motionless with lifeless eyes as Thoma held him in his arms.

A medic soon rushes over and examined Henry. 

"I'm sorry private, But Corporal. Stone is Dead" the medic said sadly and closed Henry's eyes.

Thomas hugged Henry body closely as he started to sobbed loudly.

10 mins outside the abandoned city

Two DCU Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopters were en route to the Black Bull location. 

It was the 13th Scout Unit. They received the S.O.S. called while returning from a mission. Anna was one of them.

"Hang on Voren, we're coming," Anna said to herself.
