Corporal Henry Stone was killed. He wasn't the first and surely won't be the last casualties.

Thomas was still in a daze from his best friend death. Sgt. Hoover was saddened by Henry passing but he was still responsible for countless others and had no time to grief.

"Keep fight men. We stay focus and hold the line or else there will be more death to grief!" Sgt. Hoover shouted as he got back in the fight.

Voren wanted to join the fight as well to get revenge for Henry but he knows he must stay and protect the communication tent.

"13th Recon to 6th recon. 13th Recon to 6th Recon. ETA 5 mins" the radio suddenly speak.

"Sgt. Hoover! Sir....we contacted someone. The 13th Recon is in route to us" The radio operator shouted.

"Tell them to forget about backing us up! Tell them it's now an evac mission. We're overrun" Hoover shouted as he fought on.

"Yes sir!" replied the radio operator.

"6th to 13th! 6th to 13th. Negative on the reinforcement. We are overrun. we need immediate evac!" she called out on the radio.

"Roger Roger. Evacuation 10-4. ETA 2 mins" the pilot responded.

The Black Bull could soon hear the choppers overhead as they landed in a clearing few yards away.

As the choppers back door open, Anna and others of the 13th Recon unit rush out to cover their retreat.

"Fall back! Fall back! Get to the choppers!" Hoover ordered as his squad begins falling back.

Voren rushed over to Thomas urging him to retreat.

"I'm not leaving him Voren! We can't just leave him here!" Thomas sobbed.

Voren and Thomas each both took one of Henry's arms and begins to carry him. The enemies drew closer as no one was holding them back. They soon cross the defense line and will be soon on Voren and Thomas.

Hoover spotted Voren and Thomas trying to save Henry body.

"You idiots! Leave him! There is no time!" Sgt. Hoover shouted as he ran towards them.

Hoover begins to shoot some of the charging enemies and pull and push Voren and Thomas towards the choppers.

Thomas started to shout and scream as he won't leave Henry.

"Pvt. Asher! Get him to the chopper now! It's an order" Hoover shouted at him as he covers them.

Voren nodded as he drags Thomas away kicking and crying with Hoover right behind them covering their retreat.

Anna soon spotted Voren running towards her and the choppers with Thomas kicking and screaming. She rushes over and helps him drags Thomas into the chopper.

As soon as Anna and the last group got board, the choppers took off as the enemies screams and yell.

Thomas begins to shout at Hoover calling him heartless and a scumbag.

"How could you leave him behind sir! He was our brother! You said we are a family!" Thomas screamed Sgt. Hoover.

Sgt. Hoover grab Thomas by the shirt collar and slam him into the wall of the chopper. "You think I wanted to leave him! You think I don't care for him like a son?" Hoover shouted as he begins to tear up. "I would have brought all of the back if I could! He is not the only one we left back there Sanders !"

Thomas couldn't reply. As soon as Hoover let him go, Thomas fell to his knees.

Voren sat down on the floor and watches the city disappears into the horizon as the chopper flew farther.
